Driving Clinic in Paulden @ Atonna’s

September 28

Attention Drivers:  Gary Gang will be conducting a driving clinic at the Atonna’s in Paulden on September 28th.  Here is the chance to brush up on the basics of driving as well as on the particulars of various driving events and competitions. You are welcome to bring your equine, harness and carriage for a hands on evaluation by Gary. The site has stalls in case you bring your equine.

The program will begin at 9am and last till about noon. Gary will begin the morning with a video, and information on the basics of driving, as well as explaining the various types of driving events and competitions. JUNIOR DRIVERS ARE WELCOME! This is a great way to get your young folks involved.

Afternoon session: Following a lunch break (bring a lunch or run into town for lunch.), if you brought an equine, hitch up! Gary will help you with proper harness fitting & carriage safety & maintenance. If you do not have an equine, you may audit, and listen in on Gary's advice to other drivers. Gary will help drivers to improve their skills in dressage, hazard/obstacle driving and/or cones driving.

Attendance is by reservation only.  The clinic is FREE, for CURRENT ADCS MEMBERS. If you are not currently a member, it is easy to join for the 2019 year for only $30. The membership allows you to participate/compete in any other club events for 2019, and gives you access to the Membership directory and the club newsletter. Or, for only $5, you may have a one-day guest membership, for the clinic only.
