2021 ADT SERIES YEAR END CHARTS AND FINAL PLACINGS

 

 For anyone new to the series, here is how it works: 

 

• To Qualify (**Q) for an award, at least two events must be attended, and for 1st place at the end of the series, one event must have a score; i.e., you cannot earn the 1st place award if you E or W in both qualifying events.

• Every event you attend earns you 1 participation point, even if you E or W after attempting at least one part. All participation points count towards the year end total.

• Place points for up to four events will be totaled at year end. If you attend more than four events, the events giving you the best total of points will be chosen. Place points are awarded as follows: Class of 4 or more, 1st gets 6 points, 2nd gets 5 points, 3rd gets 4 points, 4th gets 3 points, 5th gets 2 points and 6th gets 1 point. The rest in the class get 0 points. In classes with 3 or fewer, 1st gets 3 points, 2nd gets 2 points, and 3rd gets 1 point. Anyone who eliminates, or does not finish all sections of the ADT, does not place at that event and does not earn any place points.

• All participation points earned and the best four place points are totaled and the class is then placed for year end awards, which are given through six places. Any ties in placing are broken by the better dressage average for the series.

 

Below is a Summary Chart for the Final Year End Placings. The pdf files linked here have each event listed separately. Those who attended all 5 events in the series have had only the best 4 results for place points totaled. All participation points count.
